This past week, the Nostus team proudly joined the Panathēnea Festival, a reimagined celebration of innovation inspired by the ancient Athenian tradition, which took place from May 7–9 in the heart of Athens. Set beneath the Acropolis, Panathēnea brought together the brightest minds in tech, art, and entrepreneurship – and Nostus was right at the center of the action.
As a startup redefining mid-term housing for international students and digital nomads in Greece, being part of Panathēnea aligned perfectly with our mission to simplify relocation and create seamless living experiences for our community. Over three dynamic days, the festival offered a vibrant mix of panels, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and a high-energy startup competition – all wrapped up in a street party that embodied the spirit of modern Athens.
Our team seized the opportunity to connect with fellow founders, share insights with inspiring entrepreneurs, and explore fresh ideas shaping the future of the tech landscape in Greece and beyond. We dove into conversations about product innovation, user experience, and the evolving needs of the international housing market – while also exploring potential investment opportunities to help us scale smarter and faster.
Events like Panathēnea are a powerful reminder of the value of ecosystem-driven growth. Beyond the business cards and breakout sessions, we walked away with a renewed sense of purpose: to continue building a product that not only solves practical problems for global citizens coming to Greece, but also adds real value to their lives.
